Opening tonight - Superman Returns - rated 3 1/2 stars. Not-a bird, not-a-plane, able-to-leap-tall-buildings - this reworking of the legend of Kal-El, the infant sent from his another planet to a farm in Kansas, takes the DC Comics hero into the 21st century!
