Imagine a girl that has nothing left in her life except problems. She has no friends at school, no one to talk to, to tell what is in her heart. Melinda faces all these problems. This book is great even though it has its ups and downs. I liked that you didn't know what was going to happen next. I also liked the way the author described Melinda's family and the people she encounters in school.
